All of our resources can be easily adapted by tweens and teens, educators, and community and faith groups! We've heard from many of you about ways to use our tools. Here are some of your suggestions:
- Tweens and Teens: Our Community Service Kits are great for teens looking to fulfill school or faith-group service requirements. Teens can form a service club with friends, and use our free Guide for step-by-step instructions, or they can form a service club of young kids, and supervise them. Teens interested in doing something worthwhile during a holiday break or the summer can lead their own "Community Service Activities Week," and bring together young kids for a few hours every day to undertake one of our kits.
- Schools: Teachers can also bring our Community Service Kits into the classroom for student activities, and parents can use our kits to develop fundraising initiatives such as collecting gently used sporting equipment or organizing a book drive. Our Weekly Dinner Topics and book reviews also offer great ideas for classroom discussions. And, our "You Did Good" Certificates of accomplishment are customizable and available for free.
- Community Organizations: Our Community Service Kits make planning scout or other community group meetings super simple because they contain all the activity instructions and resources for a fun and meaningful service project. Community organizations can also offer our online global community to their membership for free by copying and posting our KidzPlace! Link Button on their website.
- Faith Groups: All of our resources can support the work of faith groups and their children's programs. And, our Community Service Kits offer an especially easy and convenient way to reach out oan involve the community. Kids can also use our kits on their journey to ahcieve various faith service requirements.
